The recent events and invasion of Ukraine have left us saddened. The Ukrainian people and their continued resilience has inspired us to offer support in any way possible. As we know so many Ukrainian refugees are women fleeing to the unknown seeking safety, we want to offer our support in providing products and monetary aid.
After much thought and consideration, we have devised a plan to support via direct donation of undergarments and proceeds from sales. Read on to learn more about how you can support just by making a purchase and additional donation opportunities. We stand with Ukraine!
1. Shop Support Ukraine: Bralette Set in Blue & Yellow
As with so many in the world, we are shocked and devastated by the unjust war in Ukraine. We offer our support and thoughts to the citizens of Ukraine. To show our support we have curated a bralette collection in the colors of the Ukrainian flag: blue and yellow.
100% of proceeds from sales of the set will go to United Help Ukraine, Inc., a charitable organization that receives and distributes donations, food and medical supplies to Ukrainian refugees. The team are all volunteers, and operate at less than 1% administrative cost. *Due to urgency, this donation will go directly to the fund instead of moving through our regular “You Shop, We Give.” program.
2. United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc.
We're proud to donate newly packaged undergarments to United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc. UUARC has helped hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian communities and individuals throughout the world in unfortunate circumstances for over 75 years. We encourage you to take a look at their Ukrainian Aid Collection List below. You can send much needed goods directly to their Philadelphia collection site.
3. I Support the Girls
We started working with I Support the Girls for bra and underwear donations in 2020. This organization helping girls and women experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic violence, victims of sex trafficking, refugees and evacuees affected by natural disasters.
25% of Ukrainian women are struggling to manage their period while worrying about staying safe now. I Support the Girls are activating to make sure Ukrainian refugees have access to menstrual resources. Working with partners on the ground in Poland, ISTG is providing 100,000 products directly to Ukrainian refugees. When you're fleeing a war zone, you shouldn't have to fight your period too. They need our support to keep up the battle for menstrual equity in the face of disasters. Donate $25 today to provide a 3 month supply to a refugee.
